MY PHILOSOPHY

Rani De Caluwe, IHP2, B.Sc.

Hello everyone! I am Rani, an integrative health practitioner and personal trainer dedicated to helping individuals achieve optimal health by living their healthiest and happiest life. I specializes in digestive health, hormonal balance, and fertility. My goal as a health coach is to help you achieve your healthiest and happiest lifestyle.

Wholesome foods have been a part of my lifestyle for several years as baking and cooking from scratch was a part of my household culture. Staying active has always played a key role in my happiness, given I was an equestrian for 12 years and a competitive downhill skier for seven years.  Sports have been a part of my life until I left home to go to university; that is where I found my passion for exercising in combination with nutrition.

Studying nutrition and nutraceutical science drove my passion for understanding how wholesome foods can heal and prevent illnesses. My journey of dealing with my digestive problems taught me about myself and society; I learned what foods were healthy for me and what would help me heal. At the same time, I took an interest in working out. Seeing the changes resistance training made on my body and mind got me into becoming a personal trainer. In 2018 I graduated from the University of Guelph and moved to Niagara Region where I started my personal training career.

Living in my kitchen and working out at the gym is not merely my sole passion. I also love traveling and being emerged in nature. When on vacations, I thrive off of hiking and eating local clean food. Hiking in the local environment is not only calming but an excellent opportunity to get me moving!

Finding a healthy lifestyle that is maintainable and makes me happy every day has pushed me to help others achieve the same. My career as a personal trainer and nutrition coach has brought me much joy. I am currently continuing my education to becoming a Holistic Nutritionist and an Integrative Health Practitioner.

My Philosophy

I’ve learned that a holistic approach is crucial to reaching any health goal. There is no one-size-fits-all approach when it comes to health, and it’s important to take each person’s lifestyle and bio-individuality into account when making a lifestyle plan. I have tried many different diets, supplements and workout plans, but over time you realize that each person is truly unique. I am here to help you figure out the best plan for you. I do not treat all my clients the same as every person is different, and everyone deserves someone who will truly take the time and effort to focus on them individually. That is my mission.

I take a holistic approach to health to help you find your version of a healthy lifestyle. It might be a focus on nutrition, fitness, reducing stress or figuring out life goals. I understand how difficult it can be to find what works best when it comes to nutrition, fitness, body image, emotional balance, and overall health. My goal is to help you finally take control of your health and feel your best.
